This Privacy Policy explains what information Citable ("we") collects, why, and what you can do about it.
1. What we collect
- Checkout data: name, email, billing details, and the custom fields you submit (the URL to audit, business name). This is collected by Polar (our Merchant of Record) and passed to us.
- Audit input: the URL you provide. We crawl the publicly accessible pages of that site to generate your report. We do not access authenticated or private areas.
- Operational logs: standard server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) to monitor service health and prevent abuse.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the report you paid for.
- To email you the PDF and any follow-up correspondence.
- To improve the audit system (in aggregate, not tied to your identity).
3. Who we share it with
- Polar — payment processing and tax handling (Polar's privacy policy).
- Anthropic (Claude API) — content of the page we're auditing is sent to Claude for scoring (Anthropic's privacy policy). Anthropic does not train on this data.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Railway — server hosting.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers on your profile.
4. Retention
Order records and your generated PDF are retained for up to 24 months so we can resend the report on request. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — email [email protected].
5. Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out.
